Standard check-in time is from 3pm until 7pm after which time you will need to familiarize yourself with our late check-in procedure. Your guest room, however, could be available earlier should it not have been occupied the night before. If this is not the case though, we can store your bags while you relax in our living room or gardens or start your exploration of Santa Barbara.
If your arrival is after 6pm, please advise our innkeeper during working hours the day of arrival at which time she will inform you of the late check-in procedure.
Standard check-out time is 12noon after which guests who wish to stay later can leave their bags until their departure home.
Children and infants are welcome to stay in the Cottages and Coach House only. There will be an additional charge of $25 for Children over 5.
The Cheshire Cat Inn is a nonsmoking establishment inside and on our patio however smoking is permitted in our garden area. Due to our insurance regulation and for the safety of all guests as well as to prevent odors from building up in guestrooms, we regret that we cannot permit guests to burn flame candles or incense of any kind.
A deposit of one night’s accommodation including tax is required for all reservations. All balances are due at time of check-out. If you need to cancel your booking, there will be a full refund less a cancellation fee of $25.00 as long as cancellation occurs outside 7 days. Within 7 days, the one night deposit will be nonrefundable unless the room is resold.
